Will the championship event in October only be a 100 mile event, or will there be shorter versions as well (25 or 50)?

I really like the idea of the championship race and plan to attend (fingers crossed). Hopefully it brings out all the best riders in the area. Will it be a 100 miler (please) or 12 hour event?

Thanks and good job with everything.

      Hey Charly,

I am glad you like the idea of the championship race! My thoughts are to keep it a 100 mile race just because the course is there and not many people seem to finish it which means that maybe more people need to train harder. I think Levis is a great gauge for the Leadville Trail 100. If you can do Levis in a reasonable time, then you can do Leadville in belt buckle time. I cross my fingers and hope we can make Levis a Leadville Trail 100 qualifier event.

Some changes for Levis this year will be a 7:00pm cut off and awards at 8:30pm. Suggestions are always welcome!

You know you only need to do a min. of 5 races to qualify for the overall series trophy! You should also check out Thunderdown in the Underdown. That course is also epic with a lot of climbing but it is the rewarding type.
