WEMS is featuring a few new price breaks for 2012.

• Register for all of the races before May 8th and the Series Registration Fee is waived
• Register for all remaining races #2 thru #9 and save 25% off Series Registration Fee
• ALL Registered Series Racers will be locked into a Flat Rate entry fee (Day of Race upcharges will be Waived)
• 4 Person Long Distance Teams will see a $10/racer Entry Fee reduction over last year.
• 2 Person (Duo) L0ng Distance Teams will see a $5/racer Entry Fee reduction over last year.
• 2 Person (Duo) Mid Distance Teams will see a $10/racer Entry Fee reduction over last year.
• Mid Distance Solo will see a $5/racer Entry Fee reduction over last year.

June 30 – Thunderdown in the Underdown and Wisconsin Single Speed Championship;              Underdown Recreation Area, Gleason, WI

July 7 – Stump Farm 12 Hour; Reforestation Camp, Suamico, WI

July 21– Muir South Kettle Classic; John Muir, LaGrange, WI

August 4 – RASTA Rock’n Root; Rhinelander, WI

August 25 – Pitch Black Singletrack; Cam Rock County Park, Rockdale, WI

September 22– Northern Kettles Fall Epic; New Fane Trail Head, Kewauskum, WI

October 6 – WEMS Championship; Levis Mound, Hatfield, WI

Final Series Standing                                 2011 Gallery

The Championship races are Open to All Racers and All Series Racers that have completed 4 or more races will recieve Double Points for the Championship Race. Again, for Series Racers, your best 5 race results will be tabulated. All racers excedeing 5 races will be recieve 3 pts for each additional race.

The First 100 Racers will receive a commemorative WEMS 26oz Aluminum Water Bottle.

Start Times:

• 8:00am  -  100 Miles (8 laps)
• 10:00am – Singlespeed Championship (62.5 Miles – 5 laps)
• 1:00pm  – 50 Miles (4 laps)
• 3:00pm  – 25 Miles (2 laps)
• Approx. elevation gain is around 1,000 feet per lap

Awards (approx time):

• 8:20pm  -  100 Mile
• 7:30pm  -  50 Mile
• 7:00pm  -  25 Mile
• 6:00pm  -  SS Championship

Fees:

• ONLINE REGISTRATION STILL OPEN (closes on September 30, 2011)
• $40*/racer – 100 Mile & 50 Mile Solo
• $35*/racer – 100 Mile & 50 Mile Duo and Teams
• $30*/racer – 25 Mile Solo
• $20*/racer – High School Div (25 Mile course)
• $35*/racer – Singlespeed Championship Race (10:00am)
• $7/night (updated 9-26-11) - On-Site Camping (per camping unit, i.e. tent, camper, etc.)
• (*)Note: All entry fees include a $5 daily Clark County Trail Pass fee (Show your Clark County Trail Pass at registration and save $5. All Series Races recieve a $5 discount.)

Special Rules:

• 6:30pm Cut-Off time (No racers allowed to start another lap after 6:30pm)
• Racers are required to carry ONE source of light when leaving after 5:30pm (i.e. small LED flashlight, head lamp, Niterider type, etc.)

• RACE will be held RAIN or SHINE (trails drain fast – the July race had record setting down pour)
• 2011 WEMS CHAMPIONSHIP TRAIL MAP (very simular to the 2010 Levis/Trow 100 course except with a few re-routes.)

Photos Results

Due to the Thunderstorms a race re-start was taken at 11:00am. All racers that completed their first lap from the 9:00am start time were manually recorded and added as the last lap time in the results for the overall race lap count and time. The last two “Lap Time Dates” may be the same but the “Lap Duration” was taken into account for the “Final Time”.
